What we expect of you!

1. A minimum of 18 years of age
2. Have a valid Iowa Drivers License
3. Own a vehicle to respond to training and calls.
4. Have a clear criminal record and satisfactory background check.
5. Attend all training sessions, if you’re unable to attend a training session you will need to make up the training with an officer..
6. Respond to approximately 30% of calls.
7. Have a Firefighter I and/or EMT-B certification or be willing to take the Firetfighter I and/or EMT-B course to obtain your certification.
8. Possess a desire to help your community.
